The FCD Rigid Series Ultra-Fine Inorganic Fiber Spray Coating System is manufactured by spraying a specialized formulation of mineral fibers and a range of proprietary, binder-free materials onto various substrate surfaces using dedicated spray equipment, thereby forming a seamless, tightly sealed, rigid ultra-fine inorganic fiber coating with specified strength and thickness. Since both the spray fibers and the spray-binding materials are non-combustible inorganic components, the resulting sprayed coating exhibits outstanding fire-resistant performance throughout its entire structure—from the interior to the exterior—and fully complies with the national standard GB 8624-2006, Class A1 non-combustible fire-resistance rating.

FCD Rigid Ultra-fine Inorganic Fiber Spraying Series
The FCD Rigid Series Ultra-Fine Inorganic Fiber Spray Coating System is manufactured by spraying a specially formulated mineral fiber blend together with a range of proprietary, adhesive-free binders—using dedicated, full-featured spray equipment—onto substrates such as building surfaces. This process creates a seamless, tightly sealed, rigid ultra-fine inorganic fiber coating that exhibits substantial strength and specified thickness. Because both the spray fibers and the spray binder are non-combustible, inorganic materials, the resulting coating demonstrates outstanding fire-resistant performance throughout its entire structure, from core to surface, fully complying with the national GB 8624-2006 Class A1 non-combustible fire-rating standard. In addition, this rigid ultra-fine fiber spray coating offers a host of superior properties, including thermal insulation (both heat preservation and heat shielding), sound absorption and noise reduction, fire resistance, water resistance, mold and mildew resistance, impact resistance, and freeze–thaw durability—features that distinguish it fundamentally from currently available fiber-spray products on the market.

Characteristics of FCD Rigid Ultra-fine Inorganic Fiber Spraying
1. Hard texture and high strength. Its adhesion and water resistance both outperform the previous-generation ultra-fine inorganic fiber spray, significantly broadening its range of applications.
2. Environmental Protection and Health: Complies with the Ministry of Health’s testing standards for sanitary safety, toxicity, and limits on harmful substances in health products (GB 18583-2011), and meets the relevant assessments of the World Health Organization.
3. Fire Safety: The entire coating layer is made of non-combustible materials, meeting the GB 8624-2006 Class A1 fire-resistance standard and providing 1–3 hours of fire resistance.
4. Thermal Insulation: Rigid Spray-On Insulation = 0.039 W/m·K, GB/T 10294-1988
5. Sound-absorbing noise reduction: A 3 cm-thick FCD-series ultra-fine inorganic fiber spray coating achieves a noise reduction coefficient of 0.75.
6. Seismic damping: Effectively reduces rain noise on lightweight roofs, with a significant improvement in sound insulation performance, in accordance with GB/T 6881.1-2002.
7. High bond strength to the substrate: The tensile bond strength is ≥30 kPa, meeting the ASTM E736 standard.
8. Compressive Strength: The compressive strength of the FCD rigid-series ultra-fine inorganic fiber spray coating shall be not less than 50 kPa.
9. Impact Resistance: The FCD series of ultra-fine inorganic fiber spray coatings, when applied with a surface skim-coat mortar layer, exhibit an impact resistance ranging from 3 to 10 J. Once incorporated into a finish-rendering system as an insulating spray layer, they meet the required impact-resistance standards and can be used on wall structures such as stairwells, fully satisfying the relevant national strength requirements for walls.
10. Excellent resistance to wind erosion and high bond strength: At wind speeds of 6 m/s or greater, there is no weight loss or change in appearance; the sprayed fiber layer exhibits excellent resistance to bacterial and mold growth, ensuring long-term durability and stable overall performance, in compliance with GB/T 12954-1991.
11. The quality and performance of the spray-applied coating comply with the JC/T 909-2003 standard “Spray-Applied Mineral Wool Insulation Layer.” After 25 freeze–thaw cycles between −20°C and 23°C, no changes in performance are observed, meeting the requirements of GB/T 7124-1986. The coating also exhibits a certain degree of water resistance.
12. Construction quality control shall be carried out in accordance with the enterprise standard filed with the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban–Rural Development: QBFCD18-2009 “Technical Code for Inorganic Fiber Spraying Construction.”
13. The sprayed coating surface can be shaped and finished, and may be skim-coated with mortar or layered with various decorative finishes.
